Announcing the '4 month plan' we all have been waiting for to hear....drum roll....
you kids will LOVE this!
The 4 month plan to move! YES! Move to a more southerly locale. At least as far south as South Jordan, or even northern-est parts of Utah County. That puts us 1 and 1/2 to 2 hrs closer to some of our favorite kids. Chris, Gina, and Richard just follow the trend and go south! (You are still favorites)
OK, so we have to finish the rock wall, really clean out the garage and get tons of stuff boxed up inside the house, spiffy it up then sell the house. We will start moving Tom's practice now. Getting Insurance paneling changed and all is not difficult, but requires lots of paperwork. Actually, Tom can have more panels and more clients in Salt Lake area.
The biggest change will be all the time freed up if are not driving back and forth and back and forth. Add to our weeks the 4 hours per trip to Landmark at 2-4 trips per week! This is awesome! Think of The Possibilities! We are so enlivened and energized by Tom's work with the Seminar Program, to be available for more will be so great! "Exactly How Good Can We Stand It to Be?" With a 20 min drive time! Pretty darned GREAT! (I am a shameless hedonist!)
What in the world will we do with that much time and gas money? Let me count the ways! I am so already there! YEEHAW! The way our AtkinAdventures Travel and YTB is blooming things are JUST amazing! When this house is on the market we will start looking at new places! This will be fun! Do we get a little place just for couples, perhaps the active adult community on a golf course? Or get someplace a bit isolated? Or do we get something bigger to accommodate sleep overs for grand kids? Oh yes, the grandpa is looking forward to some more face time with the kidlets! Yes, kids that means babysitting! WOOHOO! Do we go to a condo while building the perfect home? OR, Do we just move in with our kids! I know how much Dustin has LOVED having us around so much....we should share the joy generously! (Kidding kids...we like being empty nesters, it is FUN...quiet and privacy are luxurious. We earned it, as you are now, the old fashioned way! neener neener) So many choices! Vote for your choice today. This is no April Fool, it is the real deal!

That is VERY neat; it will be nice not having to go clear up to Logan to visit (and vise versa!). We weren't sure about Salt Lake when we got here, but we really do enjoy it now.
My vote would be for you to move to South Jordan. The commute is not great any way you slice it to downtown. But I think it sure beats having to go south past the point of the mountain at 5:00pm - horrible!
Just in time for us to move...was that planned? :) Just kidding. I suppose it's our fault. Congratulations! I'm happy for you to not have to commute so much.
